First of all, I want to say thank you to all of you who have been taking the time to keep up with my ministry. I truly appreciate each and every one of you and I cannot thank you all enough for how you bless me. I praise God for placing all of you in my life in one way or another. I’m only two months away from launch, and to be frank, there are a lot of exciting things going on.
Most importantly, God has been working both in my life, as well as in the lives of those around me continually. It’s been amazing to see the impact that God is having even before I leave the States. I’ve had multiple opportunities to discuss this ministry with my friends and family and I’ve seen God work with those people to take a leap of faith. Whether it be in prayer for me and my trip, or by supporting financially. Either way, it has been apparent that our Lord has been breathing life into both my supporters and me. God has also been leading me to a very short-term ministry at a Christian camp in Missouri called Camp David of the Ozarks. I had an opportunity to work there for a week earlier in the summer with my family and I felt the Holy Spirit tugging on my heart to come back, even if it was only for a week or two. I was questioning whether this was even logical because I was already anxious about leaving so soon for World Race and feeling completely and utterly unprepared. However, I knew God doesn’t make mistakes, so I committed to two weeks, July 17th through the 30th, to work as a counselor for the children of prisoners at the camp. I still don’t know what God’s plan is for this very short-notice calling, but I know his plan is always good so I’m excited to see what is in store.
What I need prayer for: I have reached a mind-boggling amount of $10,890 in support so far. However, I still have $4910 to go, I would truly appreciate it if you could pray that God continues to provide financially for my ministry. I would also love it if you could pray for my time at Camp David of the Ozarks and that it be fruitful. I know that these children of prisoners are hungry for a relationship with God and it would be an immense blessing to be able to be a part of that. Finally, I would just appreciate prayer over all those who are involved with the World Race ministry. I know that it isn’t just me who is overwhelmed by the weight of all the things that must be done before we depart on this trip. It’s a hard task to leave all your normal comforts for a year and step out in faith, I know for a fact that we could all use some prayer over this.
Once again, I just want to thank you all for partnering with me on this ministry. I truly couldn’t do this without all of you. I pray that God, in His endless mercy, continues to bless you all.
Thanks for the update! Excited to hear about the camp David of the Ozarks opportunity.
