Hey everybody!

My name is Gabriel Day and I’m so excited that you’re taking some time to read about my journey on World Race. To start off, I have been homeschooled my entire life. Because of this, I have had the very cool opportunity to start college classes while I’m still in high school. I started college at the age of 13 and I’ll be graduating high school and college with an associate’s degree at the same time this year. I am also a very active person. I’ve played, or at least attempted to play, pretty much every sport you can think of. However, I currently only do a few of them. I run XC/track, play soccer, volleyball, and I just recently quit wrestling. I spend a lot of my free time spending time with friends, exploring new hobbies, or just learning random new things for no apparent reason. On top of this, I’ve had the awesome opportunity to be a youth leader at my church for almost two years now. I’ve moved up middle school with my now 8th-grade guys and every second with them has been an immense blessing. Oftentimes it almost feels like I get more from them than they get from me.

I grew up in a hectic, but loving, Christian home. I’ve moved 11 times in my life, all across the US. Moving this many times brought my entire family really close together. We all rely on each other and my family will always be my closest and most reliable friends. All the moving I did gave me a passion for meeting new people and exploring new places. I love traveling and truly getting a feel for what it’s like living in these different places.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to learn some stuff about me. If you have any questions about anything I’d love to connect with you, just reach out and let me know!
